THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Manages and coordinates committees for the Conference. The Executive deals with denominational issues requiring mature and deliberate consideration especially 

the matters relating to doctrinal issues. The responsibility of the Executive is wide-range and organizes the strategic direction of the Conference

EXECUTIVE, MINISTRIES, & COMMITTEES

The ministries of the Conference provide a strong and dynamic spiritual experience.

Officers and Executive of the Conference consist of a President, one or more Vice Presidents, a Recording Secretary and Assistant, a Corresponding Secretary and Assistant, an Executive Secretary, a Treasurer and Assistant and such other officers the Conference may deem fit to appoint.

THE COUNCIL ON MINISTRY

THE COUNCIL ON MINISTRY

The Council on Ministry (COM) consists of a dynamic team of leaders who are accountable to the Conference and has the responsibility of seeing to the training of ministers. The COM processes internal applications for ministry and issue accreditation for ordained ministers and credentials for pastors, deacons and conference workers. The COM also organizes doctrinal and denominational statements for deliberation and publication while planning events for pastoral and leadership development.

EVANGELISTIC COMMITTEE

EVANGELISTIC COMMITTEE

The Evangelism Committee is dedicated to spreading the Gospel message and reaching our community with the love of Christ. The Committee reports to the Conference while developing and implementing evangelism programmes for the denomination and providing information and advice on matters of evangelism. The Committee also focuses on coordinating national evangelistic events while instituting training programmes for evangelism for effective church growth and development within the Conference, thereby effecting general Conference growth

THE WOMEN’S LEAGUE and BOARD

THE WOMEN’S LEAGUE and BOARD

The Women’s Board reports to the Conference while directing and coordinating the activities of the Women’s League. The League includes all ladies organization within all churches admitted into the membership of the Conference. The Women’s Board is highly motivated and has the mandate to encourage the work of the Women’s League through collaborative development efforts and plans aimed at general denominational progress and growth in women’s ministry within the Conference.

THE MEN’S FRATERNITY & BOARD

THE MEN’S FRATERNITY & BOARD

The Men’s Fraternity consists of a motivated community of men within the Conference. It is directed by the Men’s Board which directs and coordinates the activities of the Men’s Fraternity and reports to the Conference. The Men’s Board performs it’s duty in encouraging the work of the Men’s Fraternity, suggesting plans and programmes aimed at stimulating denominational growth while building the spiritual capacity of men within the Conference.

THE MINISTERS’ FRATERNITY & BOARD

The Ministers Fraternity is a hardworking group of ministers approved to serve as ministers within the Conference. These include Pastors, Bible Teachers, Evangelists and Missionary Workers. The Ministers’ Board supports ministers by providing settings, sessions, and forums (including physical and electronic spaces) in which they can share and voice their concerns on ministerial matters. The Board in collaboration with the Fraternity encourages ministers’ advancement through ongoing education and training and reports to the Conference. There is great emphasis on evangelism, discipleship, prayer, worship, fellowship, and ministerial welfare. The Board strives to represent the interest of all ministers for personal and Conference development. This is done in collaboration with the Conference and its Executive.

SOCIETY FOR CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

SOCIETY FOR CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The Board of Christian Education is a large, robust body of members with the mandate to promote general spiritual education within the Conference to whom it reports. The Society fosters denominational development through Christian Education, with great emphasis to improve and promote Sabbath Schools.

YOUNG PEOPLE’S LEAGUE & BOARD

YOUNG PEOPLE’S LEAGUE & BOARD

The Young People’s League is an energetic body of youths and young adults whose membership in the Conference consists of all youth fellowships in churches admitted to the Conference. The League is governed by a Board which has the responsibility to build and promote a constructive organization and programme for the young people of the denomination through meetings of the League, innovative activities governed by clear rules and guidelines. The Board reports to the Conference while establishing independent programmes and collaborating with the Conference to ensure general collective growth and spiritual success.
